Starting a garden from seed can be intimidating and challenging, but with the right seedling mix, you can create something beautiful! Our Seedling Mix provides everything your plants need to establish strong roots and get their growth off to a strong start. 

 

Be sure to follow the directions on the seedling packaging. Make sure to moisten the mix not to disturb your seeds gently, and always water from the bottom whenever possible as your sprouts develop. You'll also want to remember that once your first true leaves appear, it's time to transplant your seedlings into individual containers with a potting mix – especially if multiple have come up in one place together! 

 

• 4 parts Coconut Coir and Rice Hulls

• 1/4 part Premium Organic Compost

• Optional: a small amount of agricultural lime or dolomite lime to adjust the pH

• Optional: a small amount of green sand

• Mix everything thoroughly until it's evenly blended.

• Adjust the pH level of the mix by adding a small amount of agricultural lime or dolomite lime. The ideal pH level for seedlings is around 6.0 to 6.5.

• Transfer the seedling mix to your seedling trays or containers and sow your seeds.
